Moerch DACAPO is a Danish music label and record company, founded in 1995 by the conductor, producer, and musicologist Thomas Bongaard Madsen. The label's name, DACAPO, is an abbreviation of the Latin term "Date du cumulo Prima" (English: "First from the heap") and is used as a directive for choir singers to take up singing from the beginning of a piece, emphasizing the company's commitment to new and unfamiliar repertoire.
