The Mitsubishi DA-A10 (also known as the Mitsubishi T-2) is a supersonic advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft that was developed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). Its first flight was in 1986, and it entered service with the JASDF in 1988. It has a maximum speed of Mach 1.8 (1,200 miles per hour/2,000 kilometers per hour) and a service ceiling of 50,000 feet (15,200 meters). The DA-A10 is capable of carrying various weapons, including air-to-air missiles, bombs, and rockets, making it a versatile aircraft for different roles. It has also been exported to some countries for use as a trainer and light attack aircraft.
