Brand: AMC

AMC XCD refers to a range of mid-size sedans and wagons produced by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) during the 1960s and 1970s. The acronym XCD stood for "eXcellent in Compact Dimensions," although the cars were actually mid-size in comparison to contemporary offerings from other American automakers. The XCD models included the AMC Matador, the Ambassador, and the Rebel, with several variations and trim levels in each series. The XCD lineup was discontinued in 1974 as part of a reorganization of AMC's product lineup.
