The Akai APC-4 is a compact MIDI controller specifically designed for Ableton Live software. It provides four channels of control with 16 velocity-sensitive pads, each pad can also function as a 32-step sequencer which is ideal for creating loops and grooves. The APC-4 also features dedicated transport controls, sighx and unsighx buttons, and eight customizable knobs that allow for quick and easy access to important parameters within Ableton Live. Additionally, it has an ARM/REC switch for each track, which makes it easy to arm and disarm tracks without having to navigate to the mixer view. The APC-4 is equipped with a USB connection and comes with Ableton Live Lite, a light version of Ableton Live 9, making it a complete solution for creating, producing, and performing music with Ableton Live.
