Brand: Acoustic Research
The Acoustic Research AR-10 (Pi) is a vintage high-fidelity loudspeaker system that was first introduced in the late 1950s. It features a unique "Pi" tweeter designed by Raymond Cooke, the founder of Acoustic Research, which combines a disk to eliminate high-frequency cone breakup, a hard cupped housing to minimize diffraction, and a voice coil mounted at the acoustic center of the tweeter. This tweeter, paired with two 10-inch bass/midrange drivers, produces a clear, detailed, and uncolored sound across a wide frequency range. The AR-10 (Pi) was considered a groundbreaking loudspeaker at the time and is still sought after by audiophiles and collectors today.
